The One, the Only: LBD
There is no piece of clothing more iconic and classic than the little black dress. Each woman has (at least) one that fits her like a glove and suits her style unlike anything else. It’s more than just her go-to, it’s her style in a dress. She could add a red stiletto to dress it up or a denim jacket to dress it down. Regardless, it will always be her classic, little black dress.
My dress is a great transitional piece for fall (and I can’t even tell you how excited I am that fall is on its way!). I love the silhouette; it’s effortless and comfortable, while still looking sleek and put-together. I feel stylish and trendy when I wear it.
Adding these blush loafers accentuates the simplicity of my outfit. I love to wear neutrals and blush is a personal favorite. It’s not as harsh as white, especially for me and my fellow pale friends out there, which creates a subtle and refined look. The patent sheen on the loafer adds a feminine twist to a typically masculine shoe. (By the way, I think I’m in love with these loafers. Seriously.)
The LBD is a great investment piece to utilize as a basic in your wardrobe, though you don’t have to spend a fortune to look like a million bucks. Don’t underestimate its power, because, as the great Karl Lagerfeld once said, “One is never over- or underdressed with a little black dress.”
