My parents went to NYC and all I got was this canvas tote from the Plaza Hotel?! I was so excited when I saw this tote for the first time. It captures one of my absolute favorite places in the world: The Plaza Hotel. Granted, I’ve only been in the lobby and wandered their impressive food hall (with many stops for taste-testing), but I think it’s spectacular!
The Plaza is, obviously, a beautiful place. The grand entrance, the fact that you’re in New York, and the view of Central Park make it one of the prettiest places in the U.S., in my humble opinion. But, none of these are why I love the Plaza so much.
The children’s book, Eloise by Kay Thompson, was (and still is) one of my favorites. I loved how this feisty and independent 6-year-old ran around The Plaza with her pug, Weenie, creating mischief and having fun. I admire her spunk, but, more importantly, I love her style. Look at that bow! #trendsetter
Though this tote isn’t as bright as Eloise’s bow, this tote is a great accessory. It’s nice and roomy for all of my essentials! The oversized style adds a relaxed and casual feeling to my outfit. I think I found my new weekend bag, all thanks to Eloise (and my parents).
