Canvas Tote from The Plaza Hotel

My parents went to NYC and all I got was this canvas tote from the Plaza Hotel?! I was so excited when I saw this tote for the first time. It captures one of my absolute favorite places in the world: The Plaza Hotel. Granted, I’ve only been in the lobby and wandered their impressive food hall (with many stops for taste-testing), but I think it’s spectacular! OUTFIT DETAILS: Tote (love this one) Shirt (here) Jeans (similar here) Hat (similar here – on sale!) Shoes (here) The Plaza is, obviously, a beautiful place. The grand entrance, the fact that you’re in New York, and the view of Central Park make it one of…

    Spring Break Vacation

Who else counts down the days until a vacation? I have a whiteboard on my fridge that I use to watch the number of days dwindle until I can start packing my bags. It’s spring break this week, and I packed up my favorite spring wardrobe items for my visit to Carmel, California to meet my mom. OUTFIT DETAILS: Dress (here) Jacket (here) Sneakers (here) Purse (similar here) Sunglasses (here) Earrings (here) Nail Polish (here) This outfit is absolutely perfect for Carmel. The weather is comparable to London (so I obviously have been drinking tea nonstop), but gets warm in the afternoon. My mom and I walk around a lot when we’re here, so comfort is…

    Copycat Cookies

On my recent trip to NYC, my mom and I stopped in to load up on our favorite treats. You would never know this small, unassuming bakery on the Upper West Side would cause the craze it had. I mean, any place where Ryan Reynolds goes to get cookies is a place I'm going out of my way to try.

    N.Y.C.

What is there to say about the Big Apple that hasn’t been said time and again? It’s busy, it’s bustling, it’s exhausting, but it’s unlike anywhere else. After visiting D.C., my mom and I caught a train up to New York City. Let me tell you, I thought it was cold in D.C… As my mom and I always do, we walked around a lot. That’s the best way to see the city.
